The setback from the transom with the 2" setback bracket is 5 3/8" clearance when using the sandwich brackets. I thought I needed the 5" setback brackets (which I ordered and returned) but those actually give you 8 7/8" clearance from transom and stuck out too far. I just wish Minn-Kota would issue a drawing that clearly shows dimensions with sandwich bracket so it is clear which ones need ordered.

purchased it from Amazon warehouse but the wrong size was in the box. ( 6" instead of 4") But for $77.00 how could I go wrong. Turns out the 6" rise was a better height. The 6" is on the port side and it gives a little more clearance. Not that big of a deal. The quality of the Raptor accessories are bar none, excellent fit and finish. spend the extra money and do it right. so glad I didn't go through the transom of the boat.
