I am a DIY homeowner. I laid tile in 3 rooms using these. I thank god I chose to spend the extra money because while these are not the cheapest tile spacers, they make up for a ton of inexperience. If you are not a professional, I would almost say these are a MUST!Level out tileHold tiles together in vertical and inverted applications.Take the guess work out of lippageDon't cheap out. Save your sanity and time by spending money on these spacers. You will thank me

This was our first time tiling a shower. This system was instrumental in making it look professional, it was easy to use, it worked as advertised. I will always use this product when installing tile in the future. I highly recommend!

It doesn't work like they show on youtube. Maybe if your job is to make videos of this system working well, you'll prob do ok. Otherwise dont waste your money. This part in its self isn't expensive, but once you buy everything piece you need, you'll have a bit in it, and its just not all that much more helpful than the old push in place spacers, but this takes so mu h more time and effort, and the price is way higher than the old style ones, and if you're staggering your tiles this is even more of a pain in the butt. If you leave even a small tiny bit of morter in or on this tool. Throw it away. Its really just not worth the time or the trouble.

Being a tile installer I am always looking for a cheaper better system. I do like the wide round clips and the idea that it ratchets down, what I dont like is that the round clips once used 2 times some will fail to lock, also they are a pain to unlock. The second job I did the gun fell apart, trigger fell out of the gun took me 20 minutes to figure out how to jam it in hope it holds up for the next job.

The Levolution system consists of this Evolver gun, caps and tile spacers. you use the spacers as you tile, and before your thinset dries you place the caps over the spacers and tighten them with the evolver tool. Youtube has videos that show you how to use it. I am a novice at tiling and tiled a tub surround and a floor with great results using the levolution system. Keep in mind tiling requires a great deal of patience, and attention to detail, even with a leveling/spacing system like this. Also note, this does not replace leveling your substrates as much as possible prior to tiling. Levolution, when used correctly, will give you even grout lines and help prevent lippage. It only gets 4 stars for being pricey, but this evolver tool and the caps that hold the tiles in place are reusable so if you can get multiple uses out of this, it is a very worthy purchase!
