Custom design Miraculous Mary Medal rosay centerpiece for rosary making. Made in Italy of silver oxidized medal and exquisite detail according to traditional design. Die cast for precision detail and quality. The front side of the Miraculous Medal depicts Mary Immaculate, her hands open, full of light. St. Catherine Labouré saw Our Lady appear like this and heard her say, “Have a medal made according to this model. Everyone who wears it around their neck will receive great graces.” Mary stands upon the globe as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. Her feet crush the serpent to proclaim that Satan and all his followers are helpless before her (Gn. 3:15). The year 1830 on the Miraculous Medal is the year the Blessed Mother gave the design of the Miraculous Medal to St. Catherine. The reference to “Mary conceived without sin” supports the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Mary — referring to Mary being sinless, “full of grace,” and “blessed among women” (Lk. 1:28). The dogma of the Immaculate Conception was proclaimed 24 years later in 1854, and then confirmed when Mary appeared to St. Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France, in 1858. On the reverse side, the Cross and the letter M symbolize the close relationship of Mary to the suffering, passion, and death of her Son. The cross can symbolize Christ and our redemption, with the bar under the cross a sign of the earth and the Altar, for it is on the Altar at Mass that the Sacrifice of Calvary continues to be present in the world today. The M signifies “Mary” and “Mother.” The interweaving of Mary’s initial and the cross shows Mary’s close involvement with Jesus and our world. In this, we see Mary’s part in our salvation and her role as Mother of the Church. Beneath the Cross, bar, and the M are two hearts side‐by‐side: the Sacred Heart of Jesus crowned with thorns and the Immaculate Heart of Mary pierced by a sword. The two hearts represent the love of Jesus and Mary for us.

One of the folks in the family enjoys making rosaries in honor of Grandma who was Catholic and passed away. They frequently order rosary making supplies from different sourceThese miraculous medals are the same quality as others she has sourced from jewelry making supply specialty websites. They are appropriate for rosary making use, of a good weight, and are neatly printed. The loops are properly perforated for assembling to the other beads with the wire rings.

I occasionally add medals to my Rosaries, for example when asking for the intersession of a particular saint, so I am used to the fine-motor skills needed to get a medal on and off a Rosary chain. I also appreciate the Combat Rosary's feature of using the Miraculous Medal as the centerpiece, something I now wish all my Rosaries had.The three medals in this set appear to be constructed well. If an family members would like to replace their current centerpiece with the Miraculous Medal, then I will be able to do that for them with a medal from this set.My Combat Rosary's medal has the Latin script "Regina Sine Labe Originali Concepta O.P.N", while this set uses "O Maria sine labe concepta ora pro nobis qui ad te confugimus". From what I read, both translate to "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee" and are fine for Miraculous Medal text.Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!

Been wanting to make my own rosaries and this was the perfect find. The price is pretty steep compared to other listings of charms. These charms are thin and while the detailing is great, I can’t help but feel like the quality of the metal isn’t great. You can see the mold line on the edges of the charm that feels very reminiscent of plastic items. That coupled with the thinness of the charms makes it feel a bit cheap.

I do a variety of DIY projects, and I've often contemplated making some rosaries of my own. Center pieces have been an issue I haven't nailed down a solution to so when I saw this little 3 pack, I ordered it. I figure three pieces is enough for me to try a few rosaries and see if I want to keep doing it or not.I'm quite impressed with this pieces! All three of them are very clearly stamped and have no defects or deformities! (i.e. burrs, metal "flash", malformed features and/or patterns, etc.)I haven't worked any DIY rosaries yet, but I am looking forward to trying my hand at it, and the pressure is on for me to make a rosary that looks good enough to befit one of these centerpieces being a part of it! Definitely recommend if like myself, you want to try your hand at making your own rosary but don't want a bulk pack. Or, you could even replace a centerpiece of an existing rosary with one of these!
