Injection control pressure (ICP) sensor failure is quite common for high mileage 6.0L Powerstroke models. Typical indicators of sensor/harness failure include hard starting, rough idle, and power cutting out. Using our extensive experience with the Ford Powerstroke, our team identified the need for a more durable and economical replacement for the factory sensor and pigtail harness. The Mishimoto Powerstroke Injector Control Pressure Sensor Kit includes a high-quality sensor, a replacement harness pigtail, and heat-shrink butt connectors for installation. Our sensor is engineered for precise fitment and meets all OEM specifications. Often, the factory pigtail connector becomes contaminated with oil, causing shorts and issues with sensor reading. Because of this, we highly recommend replacing the pigtail when swapping the sensor. As with all our products, this Injector Control Pressure Sensor Kit includes our signature Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Mishimoto, as you know (if you are reading this) is a trusted brand for Ford 6.0 diesels...There aren't many that we trust to be good parts, and the diehard 6ers will agree that Mishimoto is one you can trust.I had to replace my ICP recently... it was my own fault. I grounded it out on the battery terminal, quite by accident, when I was diagnosing the no-start failure. (it turned out to be my HPOP)...But it damaged the ICP and was giving me some weird problems. So I changed it out, reset the computer, and it seems to be ok for the moment. Most of the stuff you find on Amazon will be "no name brand"... and you SHOULD NOT use those (my opinion) because, as I said, they don't seem to hold up to the standards these 6.0s need.

Caused my truck to stall multiple times on the highway and run extremely rough. Mishimoto support is terrible and Amazon won’t take it back either. So I’m out the $100 for a bad brand new part. Save yourself the time and trouble and buy a factory Ford/Navistar sensor.
