This product is made for a mishimoto intercooler it will not work on a factory intercooler. There's a specific kit for using a stock intercooler. Call mishimoto for the right kit

Product would not install on my 2007.5 Chevy Duramax. The 3" pipe is too large for the space available along the driver side of the engine. After 6 hours of experimenting with various alternative ways to install it which included the recommended method, I gave up and returned it. The primary problem is that the large pipe presses against the wiring making it very difficult to maneuver while also exposing the wiring to extreme heat since is going to be pressed tightly against the hot side turbo intercooler pipe.

A bit tight going on but otherwise fits good. Haven't had it under a load yet o can't comment on effectiveness.
