Mishimoto has developed an intercooler pipe and boot kit specifically engineered for use on the 2003-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. After investigating the pipe routing and size, engineers identified numerous areas where improvement was necessary. The Mishimoto intercooler pipes are made in USA and are constructed of mandrel bent aluminum routed in a way that eliminates restrictive bends present in the factory pipes. Along with this we increased the pipe diameter from 3 inch to 3.5 inch to provide substantial improvements in power, airflow, and EGTs. Mishimoto DuraCore boots and constant-tension T-bolt clamps are also included in this kit. Mishimoto DuraCore technology is the synthetic material that comprises the innermost layer of all Mishimoto silicone diesel boots. Compared to normal silicone, DuraCore provides superior resistance to heat, pressure, fuel, and oil. This effectively increases the life of boots by preventing leaks and blowouts. The Mishimoto Dodge 5.9L Cummins intercooler piping and boot kit is designed to work with performance intercooler and includes the Mishimoto lifetime warranty.

Intercooler boots suck! They come apart and got into your Intercooler/Motor, The replacement policy requires pictures/receipts/emails/forms before you get a replacement and can drive your truck again. I bought a Intercooler/Radiator as well. Despite this they still want me to send all the information in order to get my boots replaced. Also, the pipes are too long as well and do not line up with the air intake elbow. I feel like I lost spending my money with the company and having to do so many things to get a faulty part replaced. The only way I found out is because a clamp came apart and blew off a boot. I looked inside and the boot was delaminating or coming apart. My motor build was expensive which did not matter to the company when I called. Had no idea a intercooler boot took so much work to get replaced when it wasn't a issue I caused.
