great inter cooler, much better than stock. I ordered the piping kit as well, love the boots, but the 90 degree pipe just doesnt look like it aids the flow, and it is a harder fit than if they would have put two bends in the pipe like factory. Pipe will not fit dual alternators.

I bought this intercooler for my 04 Excursion 6.0. It's super well build. It's bigger than the stock one.Now, why the 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Well, it didn't perform as I was hoping. To be honest, it just acted a bit better than the stock. I pull a 9000lbs camper and was hoping to see significant difference for the price. That wasn't the case.Also, the size does matter. If you are hoping to add the mishimoto tranny cooler (Now this one was awesome) and the mishimoto radiator (Meh) and a Bullet Proof oil cooler, you will need to do some serious modification to fit them all in since both the tranny radiator and the intercooler are bigger and wider.

first off this thing is STOUT!! next is that i am very very happy with my purchase. this is a great product. the fit was excellent but you will most likely have to make some adjustments to the brackets for the power steering cooler and possibly even condenser. BUT all very minor adjustments and well worth it in the end. installation was easy but as with everything with these trucks you must remove a lot of stuff first to do the job. the charge pipes are beautiful and fit just right, the boots are well made and seem to be exponentially more durable than factory ones. i did strip one of the clamps but it was all my fault... in my opinion if you need a new intercooler there isn't a better deal. beast intercooler, beautiful charge pipes, durable boots, and a lifetime warranty. THE END.

WOW what a great product. The size and weight of this intercooler is double what my old plastic one is. This product is heavy duty. Came with all the boots and clamps needed. The boots are good quality and much thicker than stock. The pipes have raised ridges on both ends that ensure they wont slip off the boots during high boost. I have done other upgrades during the intercooler change out, so I cant speak on added performance, but I do think it has made a big difference.I have a 06 f250 with the 6 liter Powerstroke. The hot side pipe comes with a 90 degree turn, which concerned me at first since my stock pipe has a couple bends to it. But, the new boots had an offset to accommodate the new pipe. BE SURE you align the hot side pipes and boots PERFECTLY. They look like they wont line up but just keep adjusting them, and soon you will see it fits just fine. Start with the turbo boot, then work your way back to the intercooler. Don't tighten any clamps until it is just right. The cold side was a breeze. Tighten the turbo boot TIGHT! Mine kept blowing off, since the turbo doesn't have the raised ridge to hold it on.
