For anybody who has endured the pain of removing the stock turbo heat shield (Civic FK8), anything to replace it is a better option than putting the old on back on.This turbo blanket from a well respected company does a great job of keeping excess heat from bleeding into the engine bay, yes it can be tricky to fit need the inlet pipe to be removed but once its been snuggled in to place it isn't going anywhere.It loses a star purely on the complete lack of instruction, it isn't even clear which way round it goes.
