There isn’t much for instructions but I am mechanically inclined so it was easy to figure out I do wish the hardware was of better quality honestly bunt can’t complain did what it’s supposed to and keeps the transmission temps down.

Quality is good and install was easy. Kit includes the incorrect sizing for hose clamps. Also, their instructional video on youtube has an error regarding the bracket mounting. Looks like they were installing an oil cooler at the same time and shared that portion of the video, which then shows bracket being mounted incorrectly for the transmission cooler.

Trans was running at 200+ within 20 minutes of driving and even hitting 220+. After installing the cooler I've never seen my temps above 170 usually it sits at 120-150 now. And con is it is a painstaking install. Ive done everything on my jeep myself so i know how to turn a wrench and this was a tedious job. If your reading this make sure you install it with all the brackets loose and once its in place do your best to tighten it up also the hose is very then a bit scary so i swapped it out with some line we use on out sprint cars “Earls” and that should last years over all it works wonders.

Needed this urgently and it arrived next day, can’t ask for more. Fitting was not a problem and everything is running great, still need to put it through it’s paces and see if it has resolved the over heat issue.

No directions - that sucked. But husband watched four or five you tube videos and finally figured it out. We towed our RPod trailer up the mountain to Big Bear CA with ZERO problems with our 2008 JKU and performance if the tranny cooler was awesome. This came highly recommended in all of the Jeep magazines. So worth the money.

I'll install this trans cooler tomorrow but I'm amazed at the build quality of this kit and how its complete down to the absolute last detail. I love the Penguin air freshener but am kinda bummed that there isn't a sticker or 2 for promoting this seemingly amazing product.

The transmission cooler itself is a fantastic product, with all the necessary hardware and parts for a great install. I would have liked to have installation instructions included in the box (though can be found in an online video), and inclusion of same woulf have earned 5 star rating...

This is an excellent quality kit that supplied everything needed to install. Was delivered on time and Mishimoto does an excellent job of protecting the product. The cooler itself was in its own box sandwiched between foam on each end. Yes it is pricey, but I was limited in time and didn't want to scronge all the parts. Mishimoto provides a video and written directions so the steps are there. Neither show plainly how the brakets are installed so that took extra time. They also do not explain which hose goes where. Of coarse they recommend that a licensed mechanic do the install. Ya right. Who can afford a shop to do all your installs? A little adjustment here and a little adjustment there and you have a nice cooler. Install on 2007 JKU, and noticed immediate temp control.
