These bumpers are sturdy and easy to put on & take off. The flat fronts allow us to keep our pontoon snugly moored to our dock.They can get dislodged when traveling at moderately speeds or rough water. So, I do recommend removing and storing them (onboard) when you go out on the water. I clip them back on just before docking.They will not float. As a precaution, consider attaching a small bouy to each one for easy retrieval.

My husband had me order 2 pair of these for our 2023 Bennington Tritoon.We love the concept, but we were under the impression that they could be put on and left in place while on the lake.FALSE! the strap loosens and the bumper goes flying off. They do float so we were able to retrieve them.Honestly for the price I’d think they’d design the strap so the bumpers could be left on permanentlyI bought 2 sets, had I’d known they need to be put on and taken off constantly I would have only 1 pair. We don’t keep the toon in the water.-1 star for poor functionality-1 star for the crazy cost

I really liked the way the bumper attaches to the boat. But the first time using the mission pontoon boat bumpers on my new boat. One of them broke in the middle of the night which caused my brand new pontoon boat to rub against the dock all night causing thousands of dollars of damage. The strap was still attached to the boat but broke of the bumper which came attached from for the factory. This is a total waste of money.

For $170, you’d think these would be amazing, but I’m here to tell you they aren’t!These don’t stay in place at all. I followed the instructions, as they were written, but these, won’t stay attached to my pontoon boat, no matter how hard I hard I tighten the straps, they start to loosen, all by themselves. I definitely wouldn’t recommend, buying them!

I loved the concept of these fenders, but they just did not stay in place. I followed the directions and the straps always slipped and the fenders came loose. I finally returned them. I wished they worked as advertised because the concept is great.
