3 Stars. The buckle could be a little stronger as the plastic is somewhat weak.Strap security needs improvement but is mediocre.Bag excels in the Faraday Department. 5 stars there.Enclosure and magnets take up more room than I thought they would.Size: I would have preferred a slightly smaller size similar to the eberlstock pouch.Otherwise felt like it is worth the investment

Always call your cell to check that it is truly unreachable since about half the time it was not fully shielded. Nowadays I have resorted to using safety pins to ensure a tight seal and this is REALLY DIFFICULT since the material is very hard to pierce. I don't think that this is a good idea but until I can find a better work around, then this will have to do.

it does not strap on like a regular fanny pack. when you strap it on it immediately is upside down. every time. you have to coax it into an upright position. big disappointment when traveling because i could not use it like a normal pack. try getting on trains in tokyo with your pack upside down, you will see what i mean. - - - as far as the rf shielding it worked, i tested it going thru the train turnstiles. the scanners don't see my wallet or train card. --- but it was still more trouble that it was worth because it is rigged wrong.

The signal blocking liner works well. The stitching has been durable. It is comfortable and it has 2 outer pockets not lined that are convenient.

I love this product but I think there should be a better way to close the inside pouch. It is just magnets and they have to be folded over multiple times before you close the zipper... It is just a lot and your stuff is not quickly accessible. Besides that it works great.

So pleased with the bag that I ordered a second one. I tested it by trying to call my phone while the phone was in the bag. The phone didn't ring. It didn't show any missed calls either. I also tested it while in a store. The store wifi couldn't connect while my phone was in the bag. The bag will be perfect for my kenwood thd74 and batteries.73KO4ESA/WRJR757

This is a great product. I accomplishes it's goal well; however, with some sacrifices. My testing showed that the protective faraday compartment completely blocked all wireless signal from and to the phone. The bag is comfortable and has nice touch features like an elastic strap on each side of the bag strap, this makes it so you don't have the excess strap flopping all over when you wear it. The straps are quite long and accommodate a fairly large person (40" waist) easily. The downside is that you sacrifice accessibility and capacity for the protection. The faraday pocket requires you to roll and fold and tuck the pouch compartment each time you access the main pocket. This takes up a lot of space in the main pocket and takes time each time you access it. This is the general approach all faraday pouches takes though so it's apparently necessary. As such I didn't reduce the starts for that downside, but it's worth being aware of because you won't get nearly as much into this pack as you expect to based on the size. Over-all very happy with the pack and will use it again when traveling.

Not as bulky as I thought it might be. Mission Darkness makes very good quality items. I have an electrosmog meter and I also tested with their phone app, and the bag does a great job of blocking the RF signals. I didn't test it with WiFi on but no need. If it works for the phone, it works for the WiFi.One thing I need to understand better though, is how I can have a video playing on my phone, I put it in the bag while the video is going, and after I seal the bag the video continues to play and I can listen to it, but the meter shows the RF emissions going from a high of 50.something spikes, down to .0005 or .0010. There is something I'm missing. But anyway, being sensitive to EMFs, I am definitely feeling better keeping my phone in the bag most of the day while I'm working and not using it.
