I bought this as a gift for my senior friend. She has plenty of lap blankets but this one is fabulous because she can wrap it over her shoulders while she’s eating and still have hands-free. It’s soft yet lightweight and seems to be very well-made.

This is a great blanket - I bought for my girlfriend who just had surgery and couldn't raise her arms to put on a shirt. This kept her comfortable and covered during her recovery. It was very soft and you can wear it like a poncho or use it as a blanket.

I got this for my mother for Christmas. She's in a wheelchair and it's very difficult to get a coat or jacket on her. She said this is very warm and fits over her very well in the wheelchair. I highly suggest this to anyone who needs to stay warm while sitting down and not wear a coat.

Perfect way to add that extra layer for seniors. It has easy snaps in front so it doesn't fall if the shoulders when getting up/walking (huge safety advantage). It is much easier to put on that a typical jacket when the arms are not as flexible as they used to be. My mother loves the cozy aspect of it.

I got this to stash in my car for when my wife gets cold on long drives. If I don't have the AC on in this hot climate, when I'm driving, I get drowsy. Cold air keeps me alert but makes my wife uncomfortable. This poncho blanket is the perfect solution. She can stay warm, and I can stay alert for the drive. I consider it a great piece of safety equipment!
