This sprayer is a very excellent tool to have for kitchen use. It is small, but very useful and works well. I had one of these that i used for years until it finally wouldnt hold pressure anymore. I liked it so much, that I purchased this one to replace it.

I've always hated buying those aluminum cans of spray oil. This fixes that. With a quick fill, and a few pumps, you can use whatever type of oil you like. It's a decent size, and great value for the money. The body and lid are made of metal, with a plastic pump and spray mechanism inside. When you pump it right, the spray comes out strong and even, making this a valuable tool in the kitchen. Don't worry, it's simple and easy to use.

This thing is garbage. I may have gotten a bad unit, but it completely does not work. It spits a few globs of olive out, there is no misting or even a fine spray, nothing that is usable. Oil seeps out through the nozzle, making it messy. Complete waste of money.

This is of the newer MIsto design, with no plastic bladder, oil goes directly into the aluminum body of the sprayer. It does spray oil, and depending the type of oil (viscosity), temperature, and how clear the nozzle is, produce a stream of oil, or a mist of oil. Obviously thicker oils like EVOO, and it is now winter so lower room temperatures make the spray a single stream of oil rather than a mist. The steam works but I prefer a mist. Again sometimes it does mist the oil. Misto recommends you unscrew the top after each use to keep the nozzle clean. As this can sometime make the body of the sprayer oily, I just invert it, point in a safe direction, and spray away the pressure while seemingly clearing the nozzle and tubing at the same time. I read in the reviews a suggestion that you only pump until you feel pressure pushing back. I used to pump the sprayer up as much as I could. It seems my old way was wrong and just pumping until you feel pressure works just as well. In the old days Misto included stickers for the body of the sprayer for the type of oil in the sprayer. These were great until oil got on them and they would no longer stick, slide around or fall off. The newer red color distinguishes it and what oil is inside from my silver colored sprayer. Over decades I have had several of their sprayers old and new design, and will keep buying them, even with the varying streaming/misting performance.

This is a great product, in theory. It allows the use of any oil you want to be sprayed (I bought it to spray high viscosity mineral oil on woodworking projects), but it has a MAJOR flaw. The O-ring, which is critical to keeping the pressure from leaking out, is not a ring but more like a very thin washer. It almost always seats incorrectly, even when placed into position perfectly. As soon as you screw the cap down over the ring, it distorts and lets air leak out. This could be so easily fixed by using a simple small traditionally shaped O-Ring, and I hope that Misto reads this and updates it. Other than this one flaw, it's terrific.

We bought this for a gift, but have owned one ourselves for over a year.I cook a lot, and got tired of unhealthy cooking sprays with chemicals. This bottle works great, is convenient, and easy to fill with quality EVO.I would highly suggest this sprayer.

I've been using Misto oil sprayers for olive oil for years. Then, I discovered that it was great for sesame oil, which is supposed to be very sparingly. When trying to sprinkle rice wine vinegar sparingly out of the bottle it came in, it came to me that Misto would be far superior. Red wine vinegar-same. Balsamic vinegar - same. I'm sure there are many other uses. Problem: they were all stainless steel, and even permanent Sharples faded when trying to identify them. I had to resort to freezer tape to label them. When the red model came out, I snatched it up. Now, I just wish that they came in many different colors. The product itself is so good for portion control, for air frying, for lightly dressed salads, etc. A myriad of different colors wouldn't be terribly expensive to produce, and would suit my purposes perfectly. Also, think of those people who would be so happy to integrate different color schemes in their kitchens. Something you should consider. Think about it. That's all.

Easy to use. Just fill with any oil of choice, pump 10-15 times and spray oil onto food. I use it with my air fryer. Really, really cuts down on the amount of oil one needs to air fry any food.And much better than buying spray oils in the supermarket that rely on BUTANE/PROPANE as a propellant and are therefore flammable.Also able to CHANGE oils whenever you want, so no waste.

Packaged was damaged upon receipt - lucky it wasn't for a present.Unit appeared to have no damage however.But from the start, it's like I had to press the nozzle down at a certain angle to get a mist.Few weeks later, there's no angle I can find to get a mist anymore.Pity, because it's a nice looking unit. I did find it a bit of a hassle though to use compared to a squeeze trigger unit which doesn't have a cap to take off or require pumping.

After a previous failure with another product I really really appreciate how perfect Misto is.Sprays an even mist of oil it doesnt jet oil in one place like others... fine mist ...just perfect!I will buy another one to have different oils for my Ninja.

Justo lo que necesitaba, funciona muy bien con un bombeo adecuado, sale el aceite en spray súper! Así no se utiliza tanto y además deje de comprar aceite en spray. Y la presentación me encantó en rojo!
