Attached to my slider saw, good hold on the clamp, easy to take off or put on. Wish I'd of got them sooner. Sellers guarantee of delivery date was 8 days later than guaranteed delivery date.

I ordered these brackets and a set of the OEM Dewalt ones to compare side by side.Kit components, both brackets packed nicely to avoid damage in shipping - Dewalt packaging is branded, these were in a plain cardboard box. These brackets came with 5 equal length bolts with washers and nuts loose in a bag; the Dewalt brackets came with 4 equal length bolts assembled with washers and nuts and one other shorted bolt. The Dewalt brackets also came with instructions which revealed why the different fasteners. The instructions include a table where you can look up what length fasteners you need for what model saw you are using - since different saws have different feet apparently some models need one shorter bolt which explains why there are 5 bolts and only 4 sets of washers and nuts: you only need 4 to hold the saw down after you figure out which length bolts you need. This set elected to put in 5 bolts long enough to accommodate any saw.The steel shape and forming between these brackets and the Dewalt are identical - could have come off the same production line, but these brackets are slightly more orange in color and glossy powder coat finish, while the Dewalt are on brand with their bright yellow and matte finish. I did note that the Dewalt paint has already started to chip off of the edges along the bottom, but these brackets had no paint defects. The plastic latch and bumper pieces are very similar between the two, all hard nylon possibly with some fiber fill. Overall the plastic parts on these brackets were a little less finished looking than the Dewalt's, but still functioned the same.Installation: First thing you'll notice is that these brackets come with button head bolts, which are fine except you need an allen wrench on the underside while tightening down the nuts. In contrast, the Dewalt kit comes with carriage bolts and the square shank locks into the slots perfectly so you can tighten the nuts down from the top side only. I guess the manufacturer of these brackets missed the purpose of the square slots. One thing I didn't like is that all of the 'in-use' photos on this listing are showing actual Dewalt miter saw brackets, not these ones! You can easily tell because the Dewalt ones have safety labels on them and say 'Dewalt' whereas these have no labels whatsoever. Seems unprofessional on the part of the seller.Overall these brackets make good substitutes for the Dewalt ones and I have no doubt they will last for many years. The problem is, that as of this posting they cost virtually the same price as the Dewalts; both sets can be found on Amazon for between $33 and $35 new. So while these are good, if I buy another pair, I will go with the Dewalt ones for the brand value, the better fasteners, and honestly to recognize the value in the engineering behind the design instead of these which are just a very close copy.

These things are junk. No even a good copycat. Worked 1 time then jambs up every time after that. First pic is what it looks like taking it off the stand, second is prying them back open with a screw driver. Difficult to get back off the stand once locked in. I'm going to spend the extra $15 and original Dewalt parts. These wasted my time but I tried to save a buck.

The price is right. I have a couple sets for years and still work great. I got this set for my wife's new saw. But one of these doesn't work properly. It sticks. I have to get a screw driver out every time. I thought it get better the more I used it but it hasn't.
