Description said up protected. They faded completely out in less than 6 months but the window to replace had closed. I was stuck with terribly faded covers that look awful

These covers fit the pillow insert fine. They are a nice material. The company offers a lot of different colors. I just went with a tan color for my needs. They appear to be sunproof. I have not washed them yet but do not anticipate a problem.

Purchased the yellow waterproof pillow cases for my outdoor patio sofa and chairs. Bought other colors of waterproof cases to complement. Love the feel of the linen look and texture. Bright and crisp yellow summer color. I purchased waterproof inserts to provide even more durability during harsh elements. These cases feel like quality and are well made. The stitching is neat without strings and pulls. They really look great and complement my outdoor decor. I would definitely recommend.
