These are nice beginner strings. They are still a bit scratchy and tinny, but you cannot expect more than that for such cheap strings. I will say that they do seem to be decently strong. They have not broken yet. I am using them on a student violin. Again, you can definitely tell the difference between Dominant strings and these, but these are a great option for a child that is just learning, or if you are on a budget! Overall, great for what you get.

Great back up strings at a great price, good value, always good to have an extra set of strings because you never know when you will need it. Good sound quality. Happy with order.
