I love all things sparkly, and that definitely extends to glitter. I use it in makeup, craft projects, and I've been seriously tempted to mix glitter with polycrylic for a wall treatment so sparkly it'd put Edward Cullen to shame. However whenever I use glitter, I usually wind up mixing multiple different brands and types together. Glitter that's all the same color and size looks a little flat to me, I like my golds and blues and purples to have some variation and dimension.This Hemway Holographic Chunky Glitter saves me the work of mixing up the perfect glitter cocktail, because it's already gorgeous out of the bottle. The glitter includes a mix of different sizes, from large chunks to tiny colorful grains. This is perfect when you're working on an art project, because it means those little pieces will fill in around the larger ones, and you won't be left with any ugly gaps.The holographic versions of the colors have a beautiful rainbow dimensionality, so the color is a little bit different from every angle. I ordered both the turquoise blue and rose gold versions, and you get a large amount of quality glitter for the price. They're both stunning in person, and I can't wait to incorporate these into my crafts!

At first, this bottle of glitter looked silver when I opened up the package, and then when I held it up to the light there it was... The color shift I was looking for, was rainbow holographic gorgeousness. Look at the checklist of items in the 4th photo for what this type of glitter complies with, it is skin-friendly, eco-friendly, free of harmful metals and chemicals, fade/heat/solvent resistant/waterproof, and many other great qualities. Makes one rethink about purchasing glitter, it is better to avoid microplastics.Do not leave this out around small children and babies, the glitter can pose a choking hazard if they try to eat it or accidentally breathe it in. If using in a group setting, make sure children are supervised when using this and are old enough to be responsible for making crafts.Variety of glitter sizes in this batch, not just one size. Can be somewhat separated by using large mesh strainers if you want to pick out the larger chunks more easily. Or use tweezers for a hand-picked and hand-placement strategic style of art, especially when making scales on mermaids, dragons, fish, etc.Universal color goes well for most projects, silver holographic is it. But you can pick whatever your heart desires and envisions. Can be used with Halloween makeup and outrageous styles for celebrating- use some aloe vera gel or find some glitter gel safe for the skin to make the glitter stick on- a thin amount is better. You can add more later. Can stick it on top of grease makeup without glitter glue- but always make sure it is body-safe if you do use it. Works well with nail art too.

I don’t normally do a lot of reviews but this is the second bottle I’ve bought & really pleased with the effect it leaves on the things I make. Would recommend.
