This is a well-made Picatinny rail, crafted from solid extruded aluminum and coated with a thick anodized layer. However, the product listing incorrectly states that it has a black oxide finish—this is not the case. The actual color is a light yellow brown with magenta tint, precisely as shown in the images, and the photos provided are accurate, not CGI renderings.The hardware is solid and reliable, though I would have preferred some nylon thread coating on the screws to help prevent them from loosening over time. One thing to watch for during installation is ensuring that the M-Lok tabs align precisely at 90 degrees with the M-Lok slots. This can be a bit tricky, so take your time when mounting it.Overall, a great-quality rail with confusing color description, but the installation requires a bit of extra care.

This rail section fits well on my MLOK handguard. It is secure, and allows secure mounting without adding too much bulk. Nothing special, but it's really one of those things that you expect to work and are frustrated when it doesn't. This will not frustrate!

I liked that this is ultra lightweight, made of very high quality aircraft aluminum and has an excellent protective coating. I have same accessories from the original M-lok brand and I could not see or feel any difference. Only difference was the price difference. I ended up putting this on one of my 308Win’s about 300 rds ago and it has not budged and looks brand new still. Highly recommend
