1of4.. This is not an apple product, but will work as described.2of4.. The ‘earpiece speaker’ is quieter than the original even with assisted hearing on.3of4.. As described, Face ID will Not work.4of4.. The included tools (screwdrivers) are very small, possibly reaching2 to 2 1/2 inches in total length which makes it extremely difficult using your fingers to grab the screws and use the drivers in the same already congested area.

If you are looking to fix a hardware failure such as an earpiece not working or the proximity sensor not working than this will help get your iPhone functioning again. You do need to realize that you will lose facial recognition. I called Apple for what they called a, "liquid quote" and they estimated the repair at $680.00. I can get a refurbished iPhone 11 Pro Max for that price. So, approximately $13, this part allowed my phone to function again until I can afford a new one. I simply sign in using my passcode, but I do get a, "Important Display Message" from Apple. This is not the manufacturers fault, but the way Apple has set things up since their iPhone X and newer series.

Installation was early easy, however when installed Face ID stopped working. This is because of a security feature of Face ID and is not a defect. There is nothing the manufacturer of this part can do about it.

Good product for the money. The fitment was great. Speaker works as it should. Yes, your going to lose the face id fuction after you replace the speaker here. Loosing the face id fuction is just part of Apple controlling your Iphone beacuse you didn't take it to one of their authorized repair shops and don't wan't you using aftermarket parts like this one here. For the money, the speaker works good.
