I have replaced many screens, cameras, and speakers on my two son's phones. I ordered this part because my son's phone screen was very heavily damaged and I just wanted to have all of the parts so I wouldn't have to open the phone twice or wait for parts if they turned out to need replacement. I installed the new screen and battery that I purchased on Amazon maybe from a different seller, not sure. Installed the new speaker carefully .when I turned the phone on every thing worked except the speaker .took it all back apart and put the old damaged looking one back in and it worked fine. Didn't need this part and wasted my money on a faulty item.

this product is really good. apple said my iPhone was toast after a boot loop, but I bought this speaker replacement and fixed it all for under $15.00. just watch a video on youtube.

The speaker did its job. The “tools” they send are a joke. It stripped out which caused a whole other issue.

The part worked fine when it came to sound, but the FaceID will fail to work. I want to highlight that this is not the fault of the vendor, however, I do think that it should be noted that FaceID will not work.Apple has decided to encode the faceID sensor to the logic board which means that when you have a faulty speaker, like I did, and you must replace the ribbon with FaceID sensor. The FaceID sensor that is shipped with the replacement ribbon will fail to pair. Apparently, the only way to fix this is to desolder the old FaceId component and then transfer it to the replacement earpiece which is beyond my capabilities as it requires some microscopic tools. So all in all, this whole experience was a fail.
