Comparing this with the transformer competition, for a start is a thousand bucks cheaper, but you lose a lot.This table is perfect for a home without children, the wood is MDF medium densities fiber board density (saw dust glued and covered with veneer) it looks beautiful but do to the MDF is not long lasting or children proof, the transformer is made with real wood, i try looking for veneer and couldn't find any.The sheets of this table are heavy but thin, the transformer sheets are a thick wood.This table has that all even perfect looking factory made, wood look.Transformer has different wood tones made by nature with knots and all its originality.This table while it still looks good it reminds me furniture from wal mart or target.It came with instruction but this are images of step by step what to do and no words, no reading.Assembling took my husband (he build our home) close to 1 hour. There is a lot of assembling going on and is one of the many but big difference with the competition, transformer tables arrive in a box, already assembled, you only cut the box and pull out the table and done.The expandable metal tracks, the hooks and lash, everything metal and part of the mechanics of this table are of much less quality to the ones the transformer are made with, they are not bad, they work fine and as expected but when put next to the transformer the difference is very obvious, the metal parts are all thicker and stronger.The transformer has the big annoyance of you having to figure out what to do with it's 5 heavy wood leaves, this table is beautifully designed with a storage section for all leaves.The transformer either you find where to storage them or you can pay 700 +tax +delivery, for a coffee table to storage them, in my case I don't even like their coffee table design so they get storaged in the garage and I pull them out for family gatherings.Overall the table is worth it, i don't want to pay the $1,000 + more, but i already have the transformer, this table is going to function as a small desk and will be use with the transformer in our next family gathering, kids are grown-up and the list of grand kids and 3rd generation of the family is growing.Also this table is made in Italy, arrived incredibly well protected, the transformer table while designed and engineered in Canada is actually made in Vietnam.I do recomend this table, love its storage convenience and how much less expensive it is.Hope this help 🙂

I was very happy to have it. It’d pretty easy to assemble although it’s heavy. It’s very good looking closed and very nice also extended. It looks high quality. I would recommend buying it. I would say however it’s difficult to seat people in the very center seats because there is a leg that divides the center seating. It seats ten easily. Twelve…is possible but less than ideal. I used another table in addition at this party.

I am impressed. I liked the Transformer table but having to purchase the coffee table to store the leafs were not ideal for me. I thought about storing the extra in the pantry or garage but that would mean having to take extra steps to do that.So when I found this convertible console dining table I was weary at first but thought to take the leap and just get it. ONE, it’s sturdy, heavy, and seems durable. TWO, my wife assembled it on her own in about 2hrs. THREE, you store the leafs easily and if you need to accommodate more people, just pull them out.We live in a townhome and have a larger counter space as dining space. But I’m so used to having a formal dining table. I wanted something that could easily store away and give me back space, and I am so glad I found this.If you get this, take your time with assembly. Unbox everything and lay it all out.Update - found a ding on the corner of one of my leafs. I contacted seller so I’m hoping I can get a replacement. With this ding I can tell it will not sit flush when using on the table.

This table is very well made. Assembly was not over the difficult. Use is easy and storage is convenient. I love this table! The only thing I wish is that they had the benches to match.

I have been wanting an expandable table for over a year, but couldn't justify the $1300-2500 price tag I kept finding. This table was much more reasonable, and I can assure you, the quality did not suffer for it! It's solid, heavy duty, and the perfect size for our space!I had two events at my house the first week after I received it, and already have 5 friends wanting to buy at least one for themselves and a few for a business! A couple of them have had the table on their wish list for a year, but we're worried about the quality until they saw mine in person!If you're thinking about this table, don't wait! It's awesome, easy to assemble, and self-containing! No need to buy a separate piece of furniture or take up closet space storing the leaves when not in use!!

Great table, and easy to assemble. It's not that heavy but very sturdy. I use it as a console table when not in use. There are 5 leafs so it can accommodate 8+ people. The color is beautiful and matches other pieces I already have. The leafs store in between the legs so it looks like a solid piece. It pushes and pulls apart easily

I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled in this case, such is the quality of this item and all round experience of dealing with this company.We ordered in late October with a projected delivery date of 27 November to 3rd December. The item arrived today (18th November), very well packaged in 3 good sized boxes. If taking delivery of this item, it's worth noting that this item is REALLY HEAVY, and 2 people is ideal for getting this into your house and for assembly.On to assembly. It's pretty easy stuff. Instructions are really clear and packages are simple enough to work out what is needed. We assembled the table in under an hour.Onto the table itself. This really is a great quality item. Exceptionally weighty and well finished. It has a great rustic look and is so versatile it is ridiculous. It is worth every penny we paid for it and can see it lasting us many many years of thorough use.We are exceptionally pleased with this purchase and would recommend the product and company to anyone. It's an IKEA killer! If you are looking and not sure, just buy it, you will not be disappointed.

Purchased the Mobili Fiver Extendable Console Table in Rustic Oak. Was easy to put together and looks fantastic.Very practical and infinitely better than the pool/ping pong table we had with a cover! Folds away to a nice small table. Table is sturdy and the leaves are heavy, which can be an issue to handle if you don't keep a good grip on them. Case in point, my wife took the leaves out and accidently dropped one and damaged the corner.Well, I called the customer service and they sent out a new one right away! Der Ausziehtisch bzw. Die kleine Konsole wurde in drei Einzelpaketen geliefert. Sehr gut verpackt, so dass Transportschäden wirksam vorgebeugt werden konnte.Beim Auspacken wurde die Vorfreude bestätigt. Der Tisch ist von guter Qualität. Nein. Sehr guter Qualität. Das zusammen bauen macht Spaß, weil die Einzelteile und das Schraubzubehör vollständig, durchdacht und von wirklich guter Qualität sind. Die Verarbeitung ist sauber. Der zusammen gebaute Tisch ist schwer, stabil, optisch ansprechend. Das Erweitern mit den einzelnen Tischteilen ist einfach zu machen, und such hier sticht ein sauber aufgestelltes System heraus.Wir haben Eiche rustikal gewählt: der Tisch sieht fast wie ein Massivholztisch aus.Und dann noch der Aspekt des Raumwunders: auf einer Fläche von 45x90 cm ist der gesamte Tisch, auch inklusive der Erweiterungen, untergebracht. Und dann kann er in ca 50cm-Schritten bis auf 3,00 Meter erweitert werden. Und auch voll ausgezogen ist er noch stabil.Die Schienen laufen leicht und sauber, wirken auch stabil.Wir sind voll des Lobes auf diese Ausziehkonsole und freuen uns jetzt auf Familienfeste. Endlich können wir zu größerer Rubde einladen.

Ich habe den Tisch gerade erst neu gekauft, dies ist also momentan nur ein Ersteindruck. Die Lieferung dauerte ein paar Wochen, da der Tisch in Italien gebaut wird, dennoch wurde er früher geliefert als ursprünglich angezeigt. Es waren 3 Pakete, zwei davon waren relativ schwer, da die Holzteile ziemlich robust sind. Der Aufbau (ca. 60 min, geht aber sicher auch schneller) ging recht unproblematisch von statten, die Zeichnungen in der Anleitung sind gut, einzig die Positionierung der 16 länglichen Metallstifte (A7) mit dem Loch drin, wo dann quer die Muffe (B1+G1) rangeschraubt wird war nicht so gut abgebildet und eindeutig, aber spätestens wenn das spitze Schräubchen nur manchmal weit genug reingeht kommt man mit etwas Nachdenken drauf. Ich habe den Tisch alleine zusammengebaut, eher braucht man beim Pakete schleppen etwas Hilfe. Bisher bin ich begeistert, der Tisch ist robust, hat eine schöne Maserung und Farbe und wird sich in meiner Wohnung gut als Brettspieltisch einfügen. Die Verpackung war super, alles ist sicher in Styropor eingepackt auch wenn es beim Transport etwas geklappert hat.
