This is the 3rd magnifying mirror I purchased. Cost less than the others but the mirror is better quality without waviness at the edges. It’s not metal, but feels like good quality materials. The rectangular shape is a huge advantage allowing me to much more of my face at once, great for grooming. Wish the ‘metallic’ accent was wood toned , more neutral accent.

I am a makeup pro who also teaches classes. This mirror is larger than most, is sturdy, has usb charging and is a great value for the cost. I bought 7 of them and the "footprint" will fit nicely around a large table; the pedestal allows products and tools to be kept nearby. The magnified side is perfect for seeing details and for those who would otherwise need glasses. The mirror flips easily with usb port on the side. The built-in led makes this mirror portable for any on-location environment. I will save the boxes to transport them, the foam packing will keep them safe. Excellent also for personal use, there is a small ridge to hold a phone for people who want to do online tutorials. I will save this link and recommend this item to students.

I have this mirror and I also have the silver mirror that is in the photos for comparison and there are pros and cons to each.For this mirror, the actual mirror surface is quite a bit larger than the silver mirror making it easier to see.The magnifying side of this mirror is very clear and does not distort at the edges. The silver mirror does distort at the edges which lessens your actual viewing area.This mirror is able to be raised and lowered, whereas the silver mirror has a fixed height. The adjustable height on this mirror makes using it a bit more comfortable since I don't have to hunch over.The light on this mirror is brighter than the one on the silver mirror, but it's not so bright that it bothers my eyes. Also, the light on this mirror has 3 temperatures and the brightness is adjustable, whereas the silver mirror only has 1 light temperature, and the brightness is not adjustable.The base of this mirror is a tray which is very convenient for smaller items that could get easily lost or dropped on the floor. The silver mirror base does not have a tray.Regarding the bases, there are a few other significant differences:The base for this mirror is detachable which makes it easier to pack in your luggage if you're traveling.The base for this mirror has a slightly larger footprint than the silver mirror, but not enough that it caused me any issues.The base for this mirror snaps on to the bottom of the post. The post has 2 tabs that snap into slots on the base whereas the silver mirror is screwed together. Over the long term, my concern is that the plastic tabs on this mirror could fail since plastic gets brittle over time. The silver mirror is metal, so more durable in the long run. However, if you are careful with this mirror, it should last a while.The post of this mirror has a little bit of a wobble when you press the power button or raise/lower the mirror, but it should be fine as long as you're gentle.

This mirror was way beyond what I was expecting. It is a quality product. Easy to put together. The LED light is fantastic. I highly recommend this company and this beautiful mirror. Great size and looks beautiful in my dressing room.

Best dang mirror I’ve had in years. Sq mirror gives you a better view of the whole face. As for the lighting-love it and, the light has lifetime energy bulbs-can’t go wrong with that. The lighting is superb with different settings. Easy to use with touch system. The frame is not a cheap light weight plastic. A very awesome feature is the adjustable height.I’d have to say I’m impressed.

This makeup mirror is exactly what I was looking for! It's relatively large for a makeup mirror, has a rounded rectangular shape, is outlined in a smooth white plastic,and has a perfectly clear reflection. It's very sturdy and doesn't wobble when you extend the telescopic portion up fully (note: it doesn't extend all that high; I've seen ones that do extend higher.).The reflection is non-warped on the "true-to-size" side...and when you press the small circle on the left on one of the magnification sides to light it up, it automatically lights both sides. (You can also light it up from the opposite side that has higher magnification, as it also has a light circle to press).The mirror easily stays at the angle you place it, while it also can also easily swivel/flip over to the other sideneeded with one finger, so you don't need to lift the base or pick up the whole thing.The small circle for lighting the mirror is inconspicuous and you won't even notice it when doing makeup, tweezing, etc.It came with a USB-C charging cable (no power adapter box) and came fully charged, so I haven't had to charge it yet.It's nice that you don't have to waste an outlet on it, as it doesn't have to be plugged in for use, since it's chargeable and with a battery.It also thoughtfully came with a soft cleaning cloth and instructional manual. And the purple box is pretty enough to be gifted to others.I absolutely LOVE that it is plastic (as my prior mirror - which looked so beautiful when first purchased with a silver paint - had rusted over horrifically with parts chipping off after getting humidity on it (as bathrooms do) and being sprayed to be cleaned, hence needing to be replaced, even though the mirror itself was functional).You'll never have to worry about this mirror rusting over or missing any paint! That is a blessing.It's easy to clean and also has a nice, wide base where you can place smaller items onto it.It's easy to lightly press on, and the light is very bright but not blindingly so...and makes the skin look beautiful.There are 3 light settings (warm, neutral and cool).Since it does extend up from the base if one wishes, you don't have to be seated to use it, but being seated might be a good idea depending on one's height.I do wish it extended just a bit higher, so I don't need to bend over much for it, either (I'm 5'6.5"...shorter women might be fine with it). Other than wanting it to extend a bit higher, couldn't be happier with this find. :)
