The boxes arrived intact, however some of the aluminum on various parts were slightly dented. Not enough to get me angry, but annoying enough to remove a star from my rating. The other thing I would suggest would be for the manufacture to label each of the 8 boxes aside from just pictures. Make is so that you have an idea of what inventory items are in that box, so you're not randomly opening boxes to figure it out - because each box is very heavy. The assembly wasn't too bad, and the instructions weren't too difficult to follow. You will certainly need someone to help with the vertical assembly, but overall, a partially assembled piece of framework is lite enough for a smaller person to hold upright.

Pergola overall well worth the money. Took basic kit and modified to fit outdoor kitchen. Came out beyond our initial thoughts. Good quality. Only negative thoughts are some parts were slightly damaged, easily repaired. And, there are zero extra parts included. For example… the louvers are held in place with plastic black clips. Calls for 90, received 91. Don’t loose or break any.

Well-engineered, sturdy construction. Looks amazing, and relatively easy to assemble (I am not a fan of the Allen wrenches and used my own because the ones they send with it are cheap - read easily deformed - and almost impossible to reach some of the hard to reach spots.) the customer service was top notch between communication regarding shipments and when I thought I was missing parts (I found the missing bag later). Love my new pergolas
