It reclines and locks the backrest and base. It is also height adjustable. Excellent quality to work or relax- Highly recommend!

This was one of the most difficult purchases I've made. I was convinced that buying a chair, sight unseen (not to mention un-sat in) was idiocy. I'm not of average body type. I'm short, heavy, have a slightly hollow back, and spend way too much time staring at my monitor or typing on my keyboard. Plus, my budget was limited.I struck gold quite by accident. I sit in this chair every single day and it's still the same as the day I put it together. The seat is still thick and cushy, nothing has broken or cracked or stopped functioning. Nothing has torn or collapsed. I hate to even think how many chairs I see destroyed every day where I work. I don't rock or try to balance on two legs but I do propel myself around quite a bit (good for building leg muscles is my pathetic argument). I occasionally flop in the chair a bit roughly. But overall, the chair sees good use by a sensible adult who claims to work alot remotely (and I'm sticking to that story). It's been worth every penny and then some.Great chair! Buy one! But if you're a guy who thinks you can do a daily gymnastic workout on this and feels righteous indignation when it eventually breaks.. find yourself some monkey bars and a set of realistic expectations before you post reviews. The rest of us average, responsible people thank you for not muddying the waters.

The chair is ok, but it smell really toxic. I had to take it out on the sun for two days, and clean with vinegar. Now it is ok.

Hello,The chair is great. I work at a logistics company and have test trialed the chair by multiple people. The feedback was great as it provides good back and foot support. As well as the hand support placed on the sides offers the comfort to work at the desk for long hours.I procured this chair about a month ago and would like to procure more. Could someone from the sellers team get in-contact with me? thanks!

This is a good chair for the price and I would recommend this, but it’s not amazing. The standard position could be a little more upright or allow an adjustment to be more upright; but that’s a minor comment.I’ve been using this chair every day for about 3months and there’s already a tear on the armrest, see pic. My only guess is that the armrest material is quite weak and do to regular use a pressure tear was created. I’m only 170lbs guy, so not a lot of weight or abuse, just a flaw or cheaper material. N

UPDATE 4 YEARS LATER....The chair has held up pretty well. I am 5'9" and about 200lbs. I use it every day all day shifting from sitting to standing. The elbow pads were about the first to crack but that wasn't until about 1 year later. The locking mechanism to keep the chair from leaning back gave out last year. Other than that the chair is still comfortable and useful. Although I am looking for a new one as I really need that locking mechanism to stay in place when I need it to. I am in this chair too long to not have that support for my back.ORIGINAL REVIEW IN JULY 2018...I received this item today. I only found one cosmetic scratch on one of the legs but nothing to keep the chair from serving its purpose. Although assembly looked challenging, it really was not that bad. I still need to make personal adjustments via the levers to make it fit the best for me, but this chair is excellent. The arms are adjustable up and down via a button that you press to adjust. You can also change the placement of the arms left and right depending on your size, but that setting is more of a permanent process as you must loosen and tighten the screws underneath to make it the most comfortable for you. That said, I wish the adjustment holes were a little longer to allow for more narrow seating space.I have only been sitting in this for about an hour and will have to update later once everything is just how I like it and I have a better idea about the comfort level of this chair.

I am using this with my Ikea stand up desk which is adjustable so I can crank the desk down and lower the chair. Keep in mind that with a gas lift to adjust the height you need to take your weight off by popping up with feet on the silver ring/rail to raise it up or just get off the chair and raise it all the way up and then get in the chair and step it down to your preferred height. The chair does an awesome job of this.Resting your feet on the ring does require you to have more of a bend in your knees than 90 degrees so if this would bother your knees then this type of chair is not for you.My only problem assembling was a question of whether the armrests went narrow side to the front or to the back. I decided on narrow side to the back and it seems to be right. The seat cushion is awesomely comfortable and although before I purchased I was concerned with feeling the plastic supports on the back, the way this chair is designed none of that touches the mesh on the back. Also, the way the chair is aligned you can easily rest back in it instead of feeling like you are pitching forward (very important in a tall chair I think!).I feel that this chair goes plenty high enough for my stand up desk and it does seem to keep the maximum height but several things to consider if you are worried:Add on 2.5" rollerblade type: wheels: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DOTK18Y/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1If your desk is not adjustable, you can try to use a keyboard drawer for when you are seated: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G4K8LB4/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B07G4K8LB4&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=21517efd-b385-405b-a405-9a37af61b5b4&pd_rd_wg=prNyi&pf_rd_r=X7ZM50Y79GFT229WYHZQ&pf_rd_s=desktop-dp-sims&pf_rd_t=40701&pd_rd_w=q4T3D&pf_rd_i=desktop-dp-sims&pd_rd_r=bd3ca468-decd-11e8-a3eb-4bcfbdd1f5ddUpdate 01/26/22: I am still extremely happy with this chair, especially after having to switch to much more working at home since the pandemic. I haven't had any breakage issues but maybe because I just use it to sit at a standing height desk; also, the chair and foot ring is even sturdy and stable enough for me to stand up on it so I can get myself up into the seat since I'm under 6' tall. My chair takes more agility to get into it since I added the rollerblade wheels and I'm on a hardwood floor, but so far it's great!
