It works for Honda Outboard BFP9.9. However, I needed to make an adjustment to the clip so that it didn't disconnect easily from the outboard. I pulled the retaining clip out with a flathead screwdriver so that it stayed far enough to stay connected to the outboard. This should have been done in the manufacturing as part of the quality assurance process.

Image on post is an OEM Honda 5/16" fuel line connector. Product description and product received is a knock-off Honda 3/8" fuel line connector. Connector is good quality at a good price.

Does not fit Honda 15 hp 1998 outboard. The quick release connector hole on this item is square. Needs to be round for this model outboard.

There are 2 holes in this female fuel line quick release, one for fuel and the other for a locking barb like device. First of all the hole where the locking barbed device would go is too small and cannot lock the fitting to the engine. Even though it is advertise as fitting on a Honda engine, it could not make the connection to the engine. DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED FOR HONDA ENGINES!!!!!!!

It can sometimes be a problem to find reasonably priced parts for Honda outboards. The Moeller fuel connector does the job very well at a much lower cost than buying a similar item from a Honda dealer. The connector easily mates to the motor's male connector and stays tight. Can't ask for more.
