Major problem .The rivit that holds the washer on breaks after about a week. Was also very overpriced. From now on I will buy a cheaper one that may be designed better .

This valve is a perfect replacement for the malfunctioning valves on my two 1980’s shower faucets. The toughest part was removing the old one as the builder put the shower surround in after the valve was already plumbed into place. A deep well impact socket will fit but you won’t be able to get a wrench on due to the valve being so long. Instead, get a pair of vice grips on the socket and that should do it. The new valves function just like new. Happy wife, happy life!

Perfect and direct fit replacement for my old Moen shower faucet. My shower now shuts up and automatically the stem pulls out like it should without me having to pull it out. Simple and easy repair.

There are TWO Moen push button diverters. This is the LONGER one. I originally bought the shorter 1198...which I then dropped behind the shower wall. Oops.The 1394 is perfect for this. It is easy to install and fixed my issue immediately. And when the shower stops, the button pops back out immediately. I used to have to pull it back out manually.The challenge in replacing it is that the base of it is a 1" diameter. I have sockets to match but the length of the diverter prevents you from using a socket wrench. Since I was replacing it, I just wiggledbroke the diverter stem off. I was then able to use my 1" socket attached to my impact driver drill to easily remove the bolt. I hand tightened the diverter when installing it and then used my 1" socket and tightened with my hand. No issues and it's been about a week.
