This rug pad is a great thickness for under any area rug. You can tell a difference when using a good pad under your rug. It is easy to trim to fit the size of your rug. I have hardwood floors throughout my house and have replaced all of my rug pads with these.

Works great but smells bad. I have bought two of these pads now and I don’t remember the first one smelling. The second one I ordered smells pretty bad. Hoping it airs out. Other than that it keeps my rug in place and adds cushion.

I just purchased my fourth Mohawk rug pad from Amazon -- three were thicker 5x8 pads for area rugs and one was a thinner 2x8 pad to use under a rug just inside my back door. I've found them to be easy to use. They trim easily to size with a pair of sharp scissors. Two of the thicker ones are in the coldest room in our house where the floor is on a slab rather than with a basement underneath so the floor tends to be chilly on sock feet in the winter. The combination of the area rugs and thick pads make a big difference. These two pads and the one in the kitchen are on laminate flooring and I wanted to be sure the pad I chose wouldn't hurt the flooring. So far, these have been great. No problems and the rugs all stay put. Very pleased.

Rubber backing is excellent. My runner hasn’t moved at all. It’s a nice thickness too. Feels like lush carpet. Extremely easy to cut and didn’t shred and make a mess in the process. I’ll be replacing my other rug pads with this one. Great value.

Purchased to use with a runner in our kitchen that was moving too much. We have a tiled floor and now the runner does not move. The thickness was perfect, giving enough cushion without causing a tripping hazard.

We got the thicker version. This stays in place perfectly and has a nice thick, soft feel under the feet. Great for thinner rugs to give them some substance. I did cut it back a couple inches on two of the sides so it sits about 3/4” back from the edge of the rug, so the rug can drape over the edge of the mat. Otherwise it’s so thick that the edge of the rug is lifted off the ground and you can see the mat.

We recently moved to a home with hardwood floors and therefore needed several area rugs.I bought multiple area rugs as well as multiple mohawk rug pads. None of the rug pads came with any labeling on them about thickness or dimensions. So we had to lay them all out and measure them to figure out which rug pad was supposed to go with which rug. Pretty silly error or oversight on Mohawks part and an easy fix. Who sells a product without labeling it???
