I ordered these Moismile Moisture Absorber bags to use in our bathroom where most of the household takes showers. Since we live in a humid area, we always have to be careful to avoid excessive humidity that could potentially lead to mold and mildew.The kit includes the moisture bags and small plastic hangers that attach to the bags so they can be hung up. The hangers have a hook on the top that have a 3.5cm (~1-3/8") inside diameter. The bags have a porous panel on the upper back that allows moisture to penetrate. Each bag comes individually wrapped in a sealed plastic outer bag to keep them fresh. Once removed from the sealed bag, the hanger easily snaps on to pre-made holes in the top of the bag. The bags I ordered, "Fresh Fragrance", have a light scent so they are not overpowering.To test the bag, I placed one in my unconditioned garage. With the humidity at approximately 60%, I let the bag hang there overnight. In the morning I found that the bag had captured a good amount of water. See my photo. Next I am going to try them in the bathroom.

Our basement had some flooding a while back. I thought these may help a bit with the musty smell and the dampness that was lingering. It took a while to get them, so by the time they arrived, the basement was dry, and the musty smell had dissipated. I still hung two of the 10 pack up to help with any dampness that may still have been there just over a week ago. They were hung in the rooms on opposite ends of the basement.The one hung near the area that we normally have issues with during bad storms hasn't absorbed anything. I don't know if that one is a dud because there was some moisture in that area during this past storm. The one at the other end of the basement actually had some water absorbed into it. Picture included.I've went back and forth as to what I should rate them. I'm giving them 3.5 but I'm rounding up due to the ease of use and pricing being within reason.

These are very nice moisture absorbing bags. They are well made and have plenty of little crystals in them to attract and remove moisture. They hang well and hold a lot of water. Similar to others we have used in the past and work very well in high humidity areas.

These are nice and big, so will draw a lot of moisture. I got them for an old car I have that doesn't get driven a lot, and living here is the Pacific NW, we have a lot of moisture, especially in the winter. These will help a lot to keep it dry when not used.I've had one hanging in my kitchen for a few days and even though I didn't think there is much moisture there, I see that there is a small collection of water in the bag. So, this makes me confident that these do work well.

I love how the bags were shipped! The handle is included but detached from the bag, making it less likely to be broken during transport. It was also very easy to apply the hangers. Right now, I have a bag hung up on my laundry cabinet, and it is working very well. I have noticed a decrease in the moisture in my laundry room, and it does not smell mildewy. After 2.5 weeks I am still using the same one.

These moisture absorbers work exactly as expected. I’ve placed them in my closets and smaller storage spaces, and they’ve definitely helped with musty odors. Over time, you can see the water collecting in the bottom, which shows they’re doing their job. They’re simple to use and require minimal upkeep.

I don't get much of a scent from these, but they absolutely do work. Left one in my closet during a week's worth of rain and it's already filtered some water into the bottom pouch. I've had the canisters that you can refill with new pellets and the water gets cloudy and gross. I'm not sure how much water this holds, maybe a cup and a half.

This works as advertised where it takes the ambient moisture and collects it as a liquid at the bottom. The plastic is nice and thick so it won't easily tear spilling the contents. When it's done, it's just a simple process of tossing it out.Overall it's a nifty little dehumidifier!
