These didn’t work. I know there is mold because I can see it. I followed directions to a tee. Didn’t do anything. I even tried a second time and kept them in the 3 spots longer. I can see the black mold, but these didn’t show anything.

I've always thought our bathroom smelled musty, so I jumped on the chance to test out these mold detectors. It couldn't be easier - just open the agar plates and place them in areas you want to test. Wait one hour, cover them and tape them closed, then place in sealed plastic bags. I had three areas that tested positive. The kit comes with a very helpful guide for identifying, treating, and preventing molds, so I was able to take care of the problem. I definitely recommend if you suspect mold in your home.

we bought this because the house we’re renting started to get mold in the bathroom. so I did an airborne test and a swab. the FILLED dish is the swab. the other, airborne. the directions say to let it sit for 2-4 days after correct testing. these were after 4 days. It’s pretty clear. definitely works!

I purchased this test kit to see if we had a mold problem in one of the buildings in our church that we wanted to remodel. For quite some time we had noticed a moldy smell in the building and were concerned about any health issues that might arise from a high level of mold being present in the building.Following the directions, it didn't take long to see mold growing in the petri dishes that came with the kit after they were exposed to the air in the building.

We had a mold problem and had to wipe everything down and get rid of mattresses and all upholstered furniture. So few had to take a number of old tastings after the clean up. We used these kits and discovered we had done a good clean up. The test gave us peace of mind.
