I am actually impressed with how secure this kit is when packing, but the type of product it is makes sense. Still for the price it is quite assuring. The cultures are undamaged and I ran a test for some outdoor fugus that showed an expected result. Tested a few others, but luckily nothing in the household. Very easy to use.

I bought a old house , and needed to find out if and where there is mold or not, this kit has every thing included to test for the mold with description to find what type of mold. Definitely recommend it. My test kit is in incubation, will update with more details

Functional home mold kit. Easy to use, comes with instructions. Relatively quick and quality results. Good to have if you have mold concerns but don’t want to call a specialist just yet!

Kit comes with 8 triple-vacuum-bagged petri dishes, sterile cotton swabs, labels, zip lock bags to seal in the cultures, a single rubber glove, and detailed instructions with color pictures. I tried swabbing the bottom of the cabinet under my kitchen sink (which had flooded a few weeks ago), and got this result in a couple of days (see attached picture).Uh-oh.
