This is a nice, heavy, cast iron skull. Black spray finish seems durable. It's actually two halves that have been welded or brazed together, and the side connections are a little ugly, but it doesn't really detract from the overall look. It's probably even heavy enough to be used as a doorstop and plenty heavy as a paperweight. This will go on my shelf with my collection of other skulls, so I couldn't be happier.
