I am giving this product five stars, across the board. I ordered this pouch for mainly backcountry hiking. When the product arrived, it looked amazing, but had one slight defect. I contacted the seller and had an immediate response. The company quickly assisted me and for that I am truly grateful. It is very satisfying to know that a company 100% backs its product. I will purchase other products and highly recommend this company and its products to others.

I have this mounted on a molle panel in my Bronco. It’s inverted since the top opening butts up to the roll bar. Works perfectly when sliding bottles in from the bottom. The H2O patch is a nice touch. Extra storage is good for purification tabs or beverage powder. I highly recommend this for hiking or vehicle camping. It’s too large for my tastes to be used for military applications. Orca would have a great piece of tactical gear if they made a version just big enough for a nalgene bottle nested in a cup. Maybe one small storage pocket. IMHO The extra storage and handle are snag risks on a ruck or patrol pack. Nitpicking aside, this is a nice piece of kit at a reasonable price.

My rig. Army life.I will be using this for XTC3 for 5 or 6 weeks. With my jet boil, I can store up to 450gr of fuel (2 tanks*100gr and 1 tank*250gr) though I ended up putting a small wash station at the bottom instead since this is for a month-long venture, and I will have to wash my close-by hand. I also have foldable utensils that fit into the side compartment and will store maybe some soap in this as well. So, for a portable cooking station, I get 350gr fuel, a small sink, a coffee press (jet boil), a spoon, fork, spatula, and soap. The material is okay, it is not the top brand but for the price, it is well-made. Everything works as described. The Molle lining is... okay, it works well and holds tight as it should, just a little tight to squeeze the slots together. If you wanted a better hold, I would just cut the straps off and put Molle tabs on the inside to get less wiggle from the bottom (better for rucks and long hikes)Also, there is a small hole at the top that resembles a water hole in the top of camebak, so you can run a water line and maybe drink water out of it without opening the lid, or make a tiny shower. idk it is caping, be inventive.

This is a great fit for my Stanley Cook kit, with plenty of extra room for tea and coffee.

I was looking for a pouch to fit my Jetboil Flash. I have end up with two to choose from one was this one and the second was the Maxperdition 12”x5” for $64.I have end up ordering this one for more of the 1/2 price of the Maxpedition. The quality is great, a lots of room.BTW, you can fit a small fuel tank (100g) in the very bottom pocket of this pouch.I’m very happy with my decision.

At 11 inches by 4.5 inches overall, it isn't quite as big as the Maxpedition (12x5) but at less than half the price, it is a great alternative if you need extra space over the majority of 4 inch diameter pouches. That extra half inch makes a real different if you want to carry the . Other bags are tight but this one fits perfectly without snagging on the cook pot handle. There's still a little room to wrap a cleaning cloth or stuff a few other items in beside the cook set. There is another 4 inches of room on top of the Stanley pot for whatever other items you would like.Of course, you could always use this as a hydration pouch, but that's boring, isn't it? There is a straw/tube hole on the top for that purpose, and all the stitching seems strong. I don't see any loose threads or other defects. MOLLE straps and snaps work as expected. The main compartment is only 10 inches tall so take that into consideration if you are trying to fit an extra tall bottle. Orca includes a small compartment on the bottom that's about 1.5 inches tall that will fit 8 oz tins such as or similar. This is one of those design features that makes it stand out from other H2O pouches and while I don't mind, I'm not sure if the space would have been better used by adding another inch or two to the main compartment to hold either more stuff or taller water bottles. The separate compartment may be perfect for someone and I'll definitely use it so it isn't a flaw or a problem.Orca used YKK zippers for those that care. I have other bags with zippers from different manufacturers and I'm not convinced there's a big difference but I read a lot of reviews that rave about YKK so there's that. The zippers do have the same color as the bag instead of the bright shiny metal and don't stand out so that's a plus. The shoulder strap is effective and has a nice pad that is adjustable. The pad is thin compared to typical laptop shoulder straps but you aren't supposed to carry pounds of equipment in the Orca pouch so this pad is just fine. The clips and D-rings aren't quite as thick as others, but are more than enough to hold the bag and several pounds of stuff, if necessary. The strap clips are the worst thing I can find about this bag, which isn't all that bad, really. So, if you need a little extra space compared to 4 inch diameter pouches then you won't be sorry with this bag.

This is an update to a review I wrote just over two years ago. The Orca water bottle pouch has been an incredibly great product. I attach it to my backpack with the Molle and carry my thermos of coffee as well as other items to and from work. It has been an indispensable addition and I have grown so accustomed to the easy access of the three compartments, that I can no longer live without it. In fact I've bought a second one. Orca Tactical has been a great company and stands behind their product, which makes me feel comfortable buying from them. As an owner for more than two years, I can highly recommend the Orca water bottle pouch.I added the Orca water bottle pouch to my tactical back page to carry a variety of water bottles to sporting events, work, and out hiking. The pouch is very roomy and can easily hold a 32oz Nalgene bottle or one of the taller sports bottles. The pouch is also thick and provides some insulation. There are separate round compartments on the top and bottom of the pack where you can store small odds and ends. Right now I have the carry strap in the bottom compartment in case I want to remove the pouch from my backpack and carry it around by itself. The extra square compartment in the front is very handy as well. I've used it to have quick access to my phone or car keys. I've even used it to carry my sandwich to work. The material is durable and I haven't had any problems the few times I've been out in the rain. It is pretty firm and does not fold flat against the pack - it sticks out a little and keeps its shape. Overall it's a great water bottle pouch and the extra compartments have been extremely handy.

Unfortunately I no longer need this so it's being returned, but I can say that the quality & value is very high, and I will definitely be purchasing some other items from Orca.UPDATE:I actually decided to keep this and use it as a mini bushcraft kit for when I don't have my whole kit with me. I just leave it in my car and have these contents in it: 40oz Klean Kanteen bottle, GSI glacier 20oz cup, 25ft of 550 paracord, fire steel, and bushcraft knife. Works perfectly. Also works nicely for short hikes when I don't want to bring my backpack with me.
