I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and consistency that this product has provided. The salifert has been my standard test for quite some time for my reef tanks. Over the past few months, I have been testing this brand's Calcium/Magnesium test kit and I have really liked it. Accurate and consistent as well. So I figure I would try this one and I am glad I did! The value is excellent and it is easy to use! Literally take your time and do a single drop at a time until it changes color. Multiply your drops by 17 and then divide by 17.9 to get your dKH value. In my case, 9x17 (153) / 17.9 = 8.5 Exactly my salifert results.

Not a lot to say about this product but it does work. We use it for the home and the fish tanks

Needed a quick test kit and tried this one out for a saltwater reef aquarium. The test was consistent, but off by more than 50ppm or about 2dKh (tested against Hanna and Salifert which were within +/-0.3dKh of each other). Cannot recommend. Just get Salifert or Aqua Forest if you want something cheap and reasonably accurate.

I like everything about this kit. I will buy it again when needed for my farm ponds to test to see if they need lime added in the future. Best I've found... my fishing & trophy bass pond's ALL look great. LIMING is THE key to having your farm & fishing ponds looking great and keeping the water chemistry on par with what it should be.
