I was looking for a basic scope/monocular that had fair image quality. This "device" has a lot of chromatic aberration and does not focus all that well. You're not going to be able to read a car license plate at 500 feet unless you strain your eyes. I may have been thinking that I was getting a better deal than how it actually turned out. The problem with better monoculars is they won't fit in a pocket. I'm saying it's terrible, but if you decide to buy one, you may want to temper your expectations.

I bought this little monocular to keep by my bedside. I have bird feeders outside my window and there are times I like to get a closer look at the birds while I am resting in bed. This does the trick! It's not extremely powerful but it's size makes it very useful for seeing things from about 10 to 50 feet. The little slide adjustment was a bit tricky to learn but now that I know how to use it, it works just fine. Nice purchase.

Returned the item, optics were really poor. Fuzzy and could not get to focus.

My first impression when I first took it out of the pouch, I thought this thing was truly for kids, the build quality is close to a mid-grade kids toy. But it will do the job, I needed something small that fits in a pants pocket comfortably and don’t need to look too far. Not comfortable with glasses but will have to tough it out. For the price 30-40 bucks, I do feel somewhat ripped off, if on sale like half price then it’s ok.

I am a legally blind person. I have some peripheral vision in one eye. I have expensive mono scopes for outdoors and seeing things at great distance, I also have some very expensive mono scopes that I used to watch TV with even occasionally read a document. These particular types of mono scopes are made for seeing things that are not far away from you. The problem is they are still very expensive. Problem solved this $17 scope. Does that job perfectly. I purchased one a week ago and now I purchased two more so I can have one in every room that has a TV in it. I know it sounds crazy but it works and it’s sure better than nothing . I recommend this model scope highly not just for what I’m using it for, but certainly for a child to begin T know how do use one. It is ideal.

I've only used it a couple times, so I can't speak to how well it will hold up, but it's surprisingly good for $15. I ordered a couple as gifts....handy, because it's small enough to keep on a belt or in a vehicle glove box.

Eye relief is small. Eyepiece needs to be pressed tightly to the eye, otherwise it's like looking through a fuzzy keyhole. Not for eyeglass wearers for same reason. Was not useable for tv watching, like trying to read those crawlers and show descriptions. Must be a tiny hand in picture too.

The monocular looks pretty good and works fine. My only criticism is the packaging was flimsy and arrived crushed. (However, the monocular was not damaged.A minor complaint!

I use a small scope all the time in my profession, I have been through many in my years, but this is hands down the BEST the quality is top notch for short money , I will replace this one when the time comes with the same type !

This little telescope works great. Very easy to carry in a pocket. Excellent range of focus. Diopter control at eyepiece works fine.The box and instructions are comical, in that they show a poor command of English. "Binocular" is written on the box n large letters. The dual-language instructions do not show the correct product nor do they explain how to operate this product. But not to worry, as the product is well made and works wonderfully.
