My wife has a stereo set up with really good bookshelf speakers. The speakers sat on a carpeted floor, that made the sound really bass heavy. Purchased these wedge speaker stands, and left the speakers on the carpeted floor...instant sound clarity with better highs and midrange. The stands are study and an excellent price. I'm thinking of getting another pair for my bookshelf speakers sitting on my computer desk.

I got those stands specifically for tilting the twitter axis of my Polk RT3s upwards. The stands are sturdy and keep the speakers securely on without any sliding around and without transmitting much vibration onto the table top.They are just about perfect for this size of speaker (12.5"H x 7.25" W x 8.5" D) and would work for slightly bigger bookshelves as well.Reccomended.

I decided to use this to angle my surround speaker down because I have them set high on wall. They work great no vibration and mark speakers well
