  • BUILT TO LAST -- Hardened and precision ground piston rod for consistent performance, sintered iron piston for enhanced durability and longer service life and lubricated air sleeve reduces friction for smooth operation

Shocks fit great on my 1978 International Scout Terra 4x4 pickup. Running the air lines was pretty simple. I drilled a hole in the back bumper to mount the air hose connection. The shocks are great and the ride is ok if the shocks are not overfilled with air. Mine has a small air leak that I cannot find and I have to pump them up every week or so.

One shock failed - air lift function still ok but failed to function as a shock absorber. Only after a matter of a few hundred kilometers and no load ever carried.

I used these on the rear of a 1980 2wd Toyota Pickup that has been lowered, but still is used to carry occasional weight, such as a 4 wheeler. When there's extra weight in the bed, I air up the shocks and the suspension feels like normal. I'm glad I tried these.

The extra parts for connecting their hoses work really well plenty of line to get to the back of the truck. Looks like a well-made shock It definitely improved the ride

As noted, these shocks are basic and moderately well finished. Mine arrived complete and fully functional, to replace a seized and leaky set from well over 20 years ago. Rear shocks on a leaf-spring rear are always easy to replace thankfully. The kit does come with a handful of little clips which you're supposed to drill holes in the bodywork to fit; a good idea but I'll admit I just ziptied the tubes up.Ride is greatly improved and even with the jaunty angle the sit at on this suspension they give a 3" lift with about 80psi which is impressive.

Very poor quality on the air components! Air lines will not stay intact. Pull out of shocks effortlessly! I do not recommend you install these shocks, with the air line provided, nor the cheesy useless nuts they provide in the install kit! The shocks themselves look fine, but everything else air related, is trash! Plan on modifying to keep the air lines in the shocks!!!
