Great value for price. Tons of cheap red dots out there. Low end $25 high end $1200 for an ACOG. this one solid build for $70. Only At highest brightness the dot blurs a little. But what you expect for $70?I threw a QD picatinny 1/2” riser mount on for modularity; then dialed it in. adjusted turret about 15-20clicks to compensate for the riser mount and it was zeroed in at ~50yds after 10 rounds. Put more ammo through the barrel than the cost of the optic, and it stayed zeroed in that whole time. Monstrum has excellent value for the money; get what you pay for. Its no Trijicon or anything but it functions. seems solid durable. We’ll see, if it lasts 1000 rounds or more then it outperforms the some sig romeo line

When received package the Amazon box was in perfect shape, the box the optic was in was in Perfect shape, the optic it’s self was not. It was clearly dropped hard enough to put flat marks on the adjustment knob and front top corner of casement. Also the torx wrench was missing from the box. Clearly this is a quality control problem at the manufacturer. I know it’s a cheap optic and I expect that I would break it sooner or later but for it to come damaged is just disappointing.

Honestly I bought this red for its looks. It’s stout, angular, and rugged looking and seems super solid. The only downside of this is the housing is really thick and may impede full sight although I didn’t find any issue when shooting. The adjustments are easy to use with a slotted tool on the top cap. Nice positive clacks when making adjustments. It took me ten shots (5 groups of 2) to get on zero and I haven’t needed to readjust.I read another review which stated it does not use battery CR2032. That is correct. Mine came with a CR1620. Even the owner’s manual is wrong in stating CR2032.My biggest complaint is the lack of lense covers. Currently I don’t see any lense covers available and they were not included with this red dot. For now I’ll use a plastic bag but it would be nice to have covers available in the future.Overall I would recommend this red dot. It’s rugged, accurate and the controls are easy to use. For the price I don’t think you will find anything better.

You legit can not get a better red dot sight for this price… I wasn’t expecting much once it arrived because of the price but as soon as I opened it a was blown away… the build quality of it is outstanding, I was fully expecting and plastic red dot but instead got a fully metal sight… it’s easy to use and the actual red dot is very bright but you can turn down the brightness… it has a perfect weight to it and it’s the perfect size for rifles…

I love monstrum products but you can’t make a red dot with PWM if the frequency is super low. All you get is a jittery dotted line when moving around. I am lighting engineer so I am a SME. Either you dim with current only or you PWM above 240hz to avoid flicker/strobe effect. This is such a great product but you messed this aspect up. Even at full brightness you aren’t at 100% duty cycle so I still see flicker (software limit). 🙄 if you need help from an elite lighting engineer please reach out.
