I have gone through a lot of LPVO's. Started with SFP (Second Focal Plane) scopes, then moved to FFP types because "better". The problem for me has always been that the 1x performance was important, and FFP scopes fall apart at the reticle at 1x.I selected the CM7 reticle, and it is very usable as a red dot at 1x. At max brightness it smears for my eyes, but at level 5 it is bright, crisp, and visible in anything but glaring brightness. The eye-box is reasonably big/easy to acquire, and not unreasonable to use as a primary at 1x. That is a promise seldom kept by FFP LPVO's in the real world. Zooming, the Christmas tree swells and is usable. Glass clarity is actually very good, and I like the "OFF" setting between each illumination level.I like this a lot, and have paid a lot more for a lot less just a few years ago.

LPVOs are the most versatile optics for ARs and other sporting rifles, in my opinion. This is an excellent optic for many, if not most, of the modern sporting rifles. It punches way above its price point with clarity of image and light transmission. It’s fit and finish, outstanding warranty and overall accuracy and functionality at moderate ranges makes it a slam dunk recommendation.

I got the smaller of the MOA reticles for longer range shooting. It was a tough choice. When zoomed out, the reticle on this FFP is very small; the center red circle is nearly just a dot. Zoomed in, the reticle enlarges to a reasonable size. You really need to use the focus ring as well as the zoom to make the other marks visible. Some of the marks have glints of the red backlight, I'm not sure if that is intentional.I kind of feel like some in-between MOA size between the two available would have been a better choice for me, but I can just use this on a more long range build.

Everything you need. Comes with a mount. Glass is pretty clear and the built-in throw lever is a nice touch

The feel of this scope is super solid. Extremely clear glass and crisp reticle. Nice cantilever mount comes with it making installation a breeze. Highly recommend!

I actually love this thing for airsoft. FFP for this price is awesome. In 1x I adjusted the focus so now I can two eyes open and see clearly through. Paired it with a monstrum ARD scope cover and the hexagon is basically invisible when looking through. I like the cantilever mount it came with too.I dropped it once from 2ft and when I looked through the front saw a defect. Banging my rifle around a bit made it move so the defect isn't visible anymore when looking through the back like a normal person.
