Had a buck come straight out to the decoy this year. He didn't turn away until he was about 5-8ft away and then caught the scent of my scent wick and turned back. Buck down. Recommend.

Montana Decoy 23 Dreamy Doe Whitetail Decoy – because apparently, even deer are looking for a dreamy date in the woods. I set up this decoy, and suddenly, my backyard turned into the deer version of 'The Bachelor.' Bambi's blushing, and the buck next door is practicing his pick-up lines. The brown color is so dreamy; I'm half-expecting the deer to ask for my decoy's number. Forget romantic comedies; it's now a romantic whitetail drama, brought to you by Montana Decoy. Just a warning, though – my neighbor's garden gnome has developed a crush. Bravo, Montana Decoy, for making my backyard the hottest dating scene in the forest!

At the end of 2020 deer season I wanted to fill a tag for more meat in the freezer. After the rut, deer were coming only at night to our corn pile.So I decided to get this decoy and give it a try. That morning 5 deer got as close as 10 yards of it. This decoy looks so real, that after I shot a doe, a friend came to help me and when he saw the decoy he truly thought it was a real deer, at the point of getting ready to shoot it. I was not there, so he started walking slowly and then he noticed no movement from this "deer".This decoy works. Place it on edge of fields and pit some deer scent to it.Aim small and bag your deer. Also, I love how small and lightweight it is to carry in your backpack. Easy to put it in the dark.If using decoy in public land, put a reflective orange flag to it, so other hunters don't shoot at it (or to you).

Partially my own fault for not reading the entire description. This is just a 2D piece of material with 2 stakes to set it up. My intent was something 3 dimensional. Also it was rather small in size for the larger deer in Michigan. It was easy to use and set up. The photo was nicely detailed as well. Being a spring framed sheet of fabric there was some motion too. Overall not what I was looking for.

Used for the first time this fall - I definitely think it helped bring deer a bit closer in, or at least make them pause for a moment for a shot. Had one little buck walk right up to check it out, he was not spooked by it being two dimensional when going around it. It was difficult to get the pegs that hold up the decoy into frozen ground, but once in it stood up to wind pretty good. Folds easy, fits in backpack, weighs nothing. Will definitely use again next year (and will probably buy another one). Followed someone's advice on here and made a fake tail to clip on, put scent on that tail instead of the decoy.

I put this one out and the Peeing Betty just to air out near my house. Deer saw them shortly after and attracted the deer right away! sometimes it freaks me out if I forget the decoys are out! My heart nearly stops! these are great. so easy to use and I use a clip with a wick for scent hunting. Bucks and does are attracted to these. they move a little with the breeze. I like that. Got a nice buck! Only issue is that the nose was bent and I could not straighten it. These are VERY lifelike.

First time using a decoy and didn't know what to expect, especially with it being basically 2d. Looks very realistic, easy to transport and set up. I was worried about it spooking other deer, but had several does go up to it, investigate and continue on their way with no spooking. Then had a mature buck come out of some cattails near the decoy and he stopped and stared at the decoy, standing broadside. I was in a ladder stand and was able to turn ~90 degrees raise up my gun and have a perfect broadside shot at 40 yards without him even flinching.Going into it, I was hoping for it to at least draw attention away from me in my stand and serve as a distraction, even if didn't cause bucks to run in. That's exactly what it did....distracted the deer and allowed me to go undetected with a perfect, ethical kill shot.Only thing I would recommend: I read a long time ago with decoys to have some sort of rag or toilet paper on the rear as a "tail" that can blow in the wind and give the illusion of movement. I used a clip with a scent pad and a shred of toilet paper and it worked nicely to look like a waving tail.
