I ended up returning this. What I was looking for was a universal back that could go backpack to shoulder to crossbody. When you try to wear it shoulder, the tension of the straps are coming from the base of the bag, so the bag folds in you don't have a lot of weight inside, ie the bag is not stiff enough to have the straps stem from the base.

I would not recommend this bag to anyone. The leather pieces sewn together are not even in cut and you can see this in the first photo, the stitches are undone and can be seen in the second and third photo, and the straps are not sturdy(Amazon kept crashing and deleting my review in doing a fourth picture. I feel like I could accidentally break this because it is very flimsy.

This backpack is Great. Feels and looks like soft leather. Just the perfect size no to big and bulky. medium/small Not only can you use it like a backpack, but the straps conform to purse style. Fashionable and stylish!

Nice bag, came very stiff (to be expected). No awful smells. Magnetic buckle made me nervous but was relieved that the big pocket has a zipper. Bought it to use as a diaper bag for just the essentials plus my “purse stuff” and wallet….likely will not be used for that. Quite small on the inside. Seems durable though and the color is very pretty. More is a sandy smooth brown.

I adore everything about this backpack purse: the beautiful color combination, the texture, the convertible handles, and the exquisite details. Great size for what I needed and completely unique. Very nicely designed. The only thing I wish it has a zipper for the second outside pocket on the front under the flap. Otherwise. It’s perfect.

could not believe the Quality of this backpack purse for the price, thank you Montana West!I purchased 2 of the pink, lovely color a grown up color pink, the backpack is very strong and sturdyagain I can't believe the awesome Quality of this backpack, perfect for me, I know it is going to last a long time, I plan on purchasing more of Montana West products.
