I am very happy with this busy lock box because all of the activities are from “real life” hardware- the king you would find at a hardware store. My toddler clearly knows the difference between real and tor objects and so she is really drawn to this box. She doesn’t quite have the finger strength or dexterity to open all of what’s on the box but that just means a longer period of engagement with this box. I put little surprises inside the box to add to her enjoyment. I like that she is generalizing because when she sees the same piece of hardware on something around the house, she wants to open or close it. This is a well-made toy that will last for a very long time providing many opportunities for developing skills in fine motor, language, and problem solving.

This lock box set is designed to challenge the kids to find the right way to open each of the 10 doors of different colors that they see. They learn to open and close the doors and how to find and use a key in the process. Made from high quality wood and metal and painted with non-toxic paints this box is very safe for use by the child. This set is made to improve your Childs hand eye coordination and problem solving skills as they think and process how to open each door. My granddaughter is curious just like most kids and she is loving this at age 2.
