We used the stanchion cord and brass mounts in our 1856 price of our home. It’s a nice way to keep visitors from wandering upstairs, but also adds a “little something”. We were able to adjust the length to for our stairway , so my only suggestion is to offer it in shorter lengths , possibly . We are so pleased at the quality ! Price was nominal and shipping speed was acceptable ! We recommend this seller ! :)

We purchased the polished brass wall mounts for the heavy duty blue velvet rope to block off the stairs to the "movie room" loft. (Rope is plastic wrapped for protection during remodel work still, thus the odd image). The hooks match the brass rope ends and I know we'll enjoy rope and the solid, beautiful hooks for years to come!

Received our large loop wall plates in a timely manner. While it will definitely support both ends of the rope latched to one loop, it's footprint is not bulky or intrusive. Perfect size as to not take away from the intended purpose of supporting a red velvet rope.
