…for the price, however the pressing labor was more than buying the control arms with the bushings already installed. These bushings looked good and I would’ve kept them if it would’ve beefed cost effective.

I bought these here on Amazon 21 months ago and they already need replaced. It’s not easy to get the old ones out and new bushings installed, even with the proper tools. I’m disappointed. I’ve lost probably 15k miles on my expensive BFG KO2 tires due to excessive wear caused by these. I’m disappointed and won’t install these a second time.Update 8/18/19: Now that I’ve replaced these with Whiteline bushings I can see how these are so poorly designed that they will always fail quickly. These failed so quickly that I thought it couldn’t be the bushings and I’ve replaced every other joint and bushing in the front end of my truck in attempt to fix the sway and braking problems these pieces of junk have caused. DO NOT INSTALL THESE!

Perfect fit for my 98 4wd Tacoma. Used the bottle jack method to remove the old bushings. It required some heat to break the bond. These pushed in most of the way by hand. The last bit required a rental tool from the parts store.

These bushings are actually made by TZK, an OE company in Japan. High quality indeed. However, on most Tacoma's these bushings take a lot of effort to get out- even with a chisel and an air hammer. I was able to finish the job, but if you can afford it- I would recommend to replace the whole control arm for a much easier job. (Dorman or Moog has new replacements) If you don't have a ball joint press or similar to re-install, these bushings would probably be damaged upon installation. Generally you can rent these presses from any auto parts store, or a cheap version can be purchased online. Recommend replacing the eccentric cams from Toyota- Generally you can get by with just the studded cams and bolts (the nuts usually don't get seized). If you are in a high salted environment, I would recommend getting several sawzall bi-metal blades for removal of the studded cams just in case they are seized into the bushing. This will make removal of the control arm a lot easier.
