I bought these to replace the bushings on the front stabilizer bar of a 70 Olds 442 with 15/16 stab bar. They are the correct bushings but since Moog has gone to manufacturing in China, the hole diameter is a bit too narrow. The gap on the side of the bushing is a bit too wide to collapse enough for the sway bar brackets to align properly to get the bolts started. I attempted to use a small block of wood and a bottle jack but since the hole is too narrow, the gap pf the bushing will only allow one of the two bolts to get started as the gap causes one side of the bracket to cant slightly, just enough to prevent the second bolt from starting. So, I used a sanding drum on a Dremel and took off approximately one sixteenth to one eighth of an inch of material inside the hole of both bushings. This allowed the bushings to collapse enough to get the bolts for the brackets started and torqued down. If you're purchasing the bushings for a 15/16 sway bar, you almost certainly will need to massage the hole of the bushings a bit to fit properly. Other than that, the bushings are as I've come to expect from Moog, but four stars because they're not ready to install out of the box.

Amazon states this is a frequently returned item. Well, I think the reason for that has nothing to do with item quality, but because the part isn't correct. Let me explain. Ordered for a 1970 Dodge Coronet and Amazon says part is correct, as does the MOOG web site; however, be careful of manufacturer changes, especially if your car was built earlier or later in the year. Turns out, mine uses '69-style end-link bushings, which is entirely different. Five stars because it's MOOG and Amazon offers the best prices, but unfortunately, have to return.

Taller than stock bushing on my 79 Nova front sway bar, but they compress once you tighten them dow. Work great so far, no squeaks or issues

They looked too tall before tightening the bolts, but they compressed nicely into the brackets. Install them without lubricant per the instructions.

This says it fits a 1977 nova but it does not. I have a 7/8" diameter sway bar and these bushings are to large to fit correctly!
