Install this on a 2015 Honda Odyssey. It was a little difficult removing the old and replacing with the new but it saved me $$$$. Installed the grease fitting and lubricated well. Drives much better now.

Used a deep socket wrench to push it into place and it broke the boot, lacerated it from the base part that fits over the ball joint. I tried a second boot with one of the adapters of the ball joint press kit and it broke the second boot as well. Lucky for me I'd erroneously ordered 2 pairs of ball joints and was going to return 1 pair, unlucky for me now I'm going to have to eat the 2nd pair because I've had to use the boots off the 2nd pair which means I'll have a pair of ball joints w/o boots as paperweights. Finally on the 3rd boot, I was only able to fit one side while the other side barely seated over the body of the joint, hoping the pressure of the control arm would eventually press it all the way down into place but no such luck. Found a youtube video where a mechanic used a deep socket and installed it in seconds but that wasn't my experience. I'm not a fully experienced mechanic but I consider myself an experienced DIYer, I've been working on cars for years and always use the proper tools, I've performed timing belt jobs, numerous ball joint and wheel bearing replacements among others, etc and have never encountered such a pain of a ball joint to deal with. I will try a suggestion by Moog to use channel locks, using the control arm as leverage while grabbing the lip of the boot w/ the top jaw of the channel locks. I still have to install the second ball joint on the other side hoping it will go much better.
