I had to use heat to release the old rusted on one, and that’s how I found out it had plastic in the joint. Disintegrated with minor pressure after the heat. Hopefully that was a cheap replacement by a prior owner (can’t be oem, right?). Anyway- not so with the moog part! All metal, very stout. Totally overkill for a little Honda civic by I love knowing this part will outlast the car. I’ll never have to replace it again.

Initially bought cheap Amazon replacement which lasted two weeks. Bought the Moog and it’s clear the difference in quality and ride, plus no more clunks!

I used MOOG back in the 60's thru the 80's when I was a mechanic ..was a good product back then and I see no problem with these ...They have grease fittings which is a plus to me ...

Not sure what sheerness means here. But this part fits my 03 civic. It's easily installed. Beefier than OEM. There's no instructions about orientation. It appears that the grease fittings could face either up, or down. Should've been instructions about that. And since these are replaced in pairs. Left and right should be marked somehow. I had to reference the number while in the middle of the filthy project. A simple marking on the box would've saved aggravation.

Make sure to replace your end links in pairs. This item is for your front RIGHT (K90455). For the front LEFT, it is K90454.If your car squeaks like crazy going over every small bump, it's probably your sway bar.First make sure your bushings are greased properly and have not worn down from contact with the bar.If your bushings are shot, then replace them with bushings that have grease zerk fittings such as Energy Suspension. They will last longer since they would be lubricated and you won't have to take it apart to grease.Next, check your sway bar end links. If the boots on your end links are ripped, then you need new end links.Right out of the box these end links are noticeable heavier and about 2x thicker so they can be used with larger aftermarket sway bars. They also have a large rubber boot that is already greased but can hold a lot more grease than my factory ones. These also come with grease zerk fittings so you can grease them instead of replacing them if the grease disappears over time. The end links also have a different installation system instead of your factory one that required a hex key and a crescent wrench. These use a regular nut and you just need something to hold the other end when installing. There are 0 chances of you stripping the end link which saves you a lot of trouble.I installed these on my 2003 Honda Civic Coupe.

This replaced an aftermarket front sway bar link on a 2002 Civic that failed after 10,000 miles. The sway bar was making a terrible knocking noise after driving a few miles. It sounded like a bad strut but was actually the frozen solid cheapo sway bar links. The Moog design is more robust and allows for periodic grease refills. Installation was straightforward and very easy with the wrench flats on the joint side. It's a relief not to deal with the Allen wrench setup of the stock links. The Amazon Moog links were also half the price of my local parts store. I'll be purchasing the same type when the rear links go bad.The picture shown is a little different than the part I received. My link had the grease fittings on the rounded sides with a recessed sealed rubber boot - not the loose fitting style shown on the product page. I believe the part that actually shipped is a better design.
