Yes, the illumination is not as bright as it was, but these worked quite well to cover the chipping that is so prevalent with Mercedes Benz vehicles of the 2010s.

Fit W166 GLE perfectly, but due to thickness and reduced opacity of adhesive backing, not as much light is transmitted through the white icon graphic at night and you can see a slight three dimensional shadow within the window icon itself (because it's acting as a light pipe or prism). It's a noticeable difference but not a deal breaker if you you can still find the button in the dark. It just makes it appear as if the bulb behind the button is failing or not achieving full wattage. I may try to cut out the adhesive backing directly beneath the icon to see if it lets more light through to match OE brightness but I'm not sure it will improve much due to the distance between the button cover/cap and the top surface of OE button. If you must have full brightness, the skip this and replace the actual button itself.

Look no further, these are the best to replace worn out labels on the switches, they are contoured and fits like a glove perfectly. I had bought another set of stickers earlier from amazon, they were too large and did not fit the 2014 GL450 window switch. This one does and it was easy to install. They are really well made

This is a before and after.. At first I thought the product was bent and messed up but you have to match it with the correct bottom. After I put all the covers it looked brand new! And it don’t look like it’s a cover on it. When dark u can still see the light through the cover as well. If you thinking about buying it , BUY IT! Save money and look good.

the appearance was good and gave me what I needed for my scratched up Car button, but !! after several weeks or months they started popping off, So I would recommend to add a little super glue for longevity.order at your own risk.Sidney in Lancaster, TX

I was happy to find these stickers. Once I received the stickers, I applied the first three and had no problems until it was time to cover the window switch buttons. I then noticed the stickers for those buttons were damaged and bent. I attempted to apply a sticker to the window switch on the very right and the sticker was not flat and noticeably damaged as you can see in the picture, so I then took it off and it ripped rest of the paint off of my car button. I then attempted to take the other ones off so I can return this item, but the adhesive was too strong, and I did not want to further damage my vehicle. This is very stressful because I know have to ride around and look at two different tones which is tacky and just a bad experience over all to go through. I am just waiting for this matter to be resolved.
