The board is ok. It's exactly like pictured. It specifically says in the description that it includes grip tape but now I'm being told that is not included any more. I'm tempted to return it because of false advertising. If you don't include it then update the description on Amazon. Too many companies trying to take short cuts lately.

I am very happy with this purchase! I bought this to do artwork on for my dad's Christmas gift. It's absolutely beautiful wood, sturdy, and very durable. The only advice I have for people is if you're looking to do artwork on it, sand down the spot you're wanting to do the art on. They put a very nice, shiny, sealer on it that prevents things from sticking. The picture above is the artwork I did on it.

So far so good , I usually don't buy blank decks or brands I've never heard of , I thought I'd take a chance on this and I'm happy I did

if you like concave in your skateboard then just don't read this. it only has a little bit. if not, OUTSTANDING deck! this is without a doubt the holy grail of amazon boards. your friends and pals at the skatepark will tease you for getting this (if you do) but your a winner for getting it. just a warning for stair set enthusiests and street skaters it's not exactly built for high impact stuff since i snapped the tail within 2 months of use. but since your currantly serching for old school shape boards, i doubt you do any big drops or gaps of this sort. great shape, sturdy, basic, fun!

I was looking for an old school shaped deck that I could use for a cruiser board. This deck is perfect for that. 7 ply maple is good quality and it comes with griptape. I paired this deck with some 180mm reverse kingpin (longboard) trucks and 70mm wheels and cruising around town is great. Attached are a couple of pictures of this board (on the right) next to my regular (red) board for size reference. Note: the griptape logo and stickers were my own addition. It did not come like that.

This deck is awesome!!! It's very stiff, and has a nice big kick tail which together makes it a pumping monster. I also like the wide front of the deck, makes it a very stable even when doing sketchy maneuvers. The shape/ride has a very 80s Alva/Peralta vibe to it. Also it came with a roll of grip tape as advertised.I think I'm gonna get some rails for it and go try and find some pools to ride.

I was so reluctant to get this deck but am happy to report that it is really nice. It was well worth the money. This is the first deck of its kind I've purchased and I'm not disappointed at all. It probably depends what you want to do with it, what kind of riding you're doing. I'm learning tricks on my regular deck (7.75) with small wheels (51) and wanted something for cruising with a wider base. It's a little longer than my other one actually which surprised me. But not a long board like I've seen at shops. Grip tape that comes with is seems pretty decent to me. I guess if you wanted to get a different brand that you're more used to, just discard the one included. I'll put up some images of it since that was what caused the biggest delay in buying. I couldn't find any good photos of this or most other boards.
