Oil pressure sensor plastic bag was opened, the sensor does not have any part id’s on the sensor like the sensor I removed from the vehicle. The old sensor I removed has Mopar stamped 051490988AA, this sensor has no stamping at all and may be an aftermarket for all I know since the plastic bag was opened.

Was definitely a Mopar part. Bought an O'Reilly's and it quit in a short time. Would recommend this switch as it is not an easy change.

I try to buy genuine MOPAR parts for my 2002 Grand Caravan whenever possible. This item was an exact replacement and installation took minutes after watching a YouTube video.I also bought the inexpensive socket designed for this item which is also available on Amazon, and some CFC electrical connector cleaner, because the wiring will be full of oil when you disconnect the old one.A quick fix to the oil light coming on intermittently.

My oil light went off on the dash. 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan. I had replaced the sensor before with an aftermarket part maybe a year and a half ago. I decided it's best to just spend the extra money and get an OEM replacement. The price was very fair and once installed, the oil light turned off. I bought it sold and shipped by Amazon. I wouldn't risk ordering a part like this with a reseller. You might get an aftermarket or an altogether fake product.

It works perfect in our Dodge Neon 2005, thanks to God. The packaging was very poor, not even a label with the MOPAR certification. I trust this is a MOPAR replacement.
