This is a perfect fit for my 2004 Dakota 4.7, and unlike the aftermarket ones it's not constantly roaring with too much airflow. Sure, it's expensive but the factory one lasted 18 years.

After purchasing a used Dodge Dakota, I quickly grew tired of the roar from a cheap aftermarket fan clutch someone had installed. This OEM part is nice and quiet and makes the vehicle much more pleasant to drive.

After going through 3 replacements from AutoZone and "O'Really!?" auto parts, I had to just buy a genuine Mopar part. This one works as designed and lets go of lock-up when it should. The others while powerful and moving the fan, never would let go causing belt slips. This part made the truck work as it did when I bought it, no excessive roar and the fan actually cooling the engine properly.

get the real thing, MOPAR is the only one that really works right. Cheaper ones do not work right and are hard on the engine
